Realizing his artistic talent early, Joe was given alabaster to carve while still in high school. This led to a variety of studies and careers in art, including time studying at the Louvre and the Toyko Museum of Art as well as instructing at the Cowboy Artist of America Museum and San Juan College. He has been awarded numerous accolades from the Cowboy Artists of America since his election as the first Native American member in 1993. Overall excellent condition.
