Pair of (2) German Meissen porcelain polychrome and parcel-gilt figures, depicting a hunter and huntress, each in eighteenth century attire with green coats and tricorn hats holding a rifle upright to their side and accompanied by a seated dog, upon circular, naturalistic bases with small tree stumps. Both with Meissen marks and incised numbers to the bases. Male figure: 9 1/8" H x 4 1/4" W x 3 3/4" D. Female figure: 9 1/2" H x 4 1/2" W x 3 1/2" D. 19th century.

Condition
Both items with scattered minute wear to polychrome decoration. Male figure with minute loss to leaves of tree stump. Female figure with previous repair to neck of figure and left paw of dog, with corresponding overpainting to figure's neck and chest and dog's forepaw.
