Two (2) Dennis Gilbert (England, b. 1922) Impressionist-style oil paintings of nude women in domestic interiors. 1st item: An oil on canvas painting of a reclining female nude viewed from behind and positioned before a window that overlooks a village. Signed "Dennis Gilbert," lower right, and titled "The German Girl" on tape affixed to the backing. Housed in a distressed gilt wood frame. Sight: 9 1/2" H x 23 1/4" W. Frame: 14 1/8" H x 28" W. 2nd item: An oil on board painting of a female nude seated next to a bouquet of colorful flowers and before a window lined with potted plants. Signed "GILBERT," upper right, and titled "The American Girl" on tape affixed to backing. Housed in a distressed gilt wood frame. Sight: 11 3/8" H x 15 5/16" W. Frame: 16 1/16" H x 20 1/16" W.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
