Persian Kashan carpet, wool on cotton foundation, concentric geometric central medallion design centered with a rust ground, all-over geometric floral designs and red/salmon color background, floral spandrels, and three primary geometric and foliate borders. Woven in colors of brick red, brown, green, cream, and blue. 13 ft 2 in. x 9 ft 7 in. 1st Qtr. 20th century.
Condition
Overall moderate even pile wear and scattered knot heads throughout. Scattered fading or abrash. Losses to fringe and each fringed end reinforced.
