Phillip Crowe (Tennessee, b. 1947) acrylic on Masonite painting depicting the 17th green at Pebble Beach golf course in Monterey County, California, with the Pacific ocean in the background. Signed lower left. Inscribed "17th at Pebble Beach," en verso, and also to backing. Additionally signed in pen to backing and inscibed "Especially for / Shields / 'Special Thanks' 1996." Housed in a wood frame with gilt and linen fillet. Sight: 11 3/4" H x 17 1/4' W. Framed: 18 1/4" H x 24" W.
Excellent condition. Frame with minor abrasions and surface grime to linen.
