Two (2) Albert Pels (New York/Ohio, 1910-1998) oil on canvas paintings. 1st item: Painting entitled "Costume Ball" and depciting a crowded costume party with three central figures drinking from glasses. Signed "Pels" to belt of center left figure. Housed in a gilt wood frame. Canvas: 14" H x 18" W. Frame: 22 3/8 H x 26 1/2" W. 2nd item: Painting depciting a man with hand on head leaning on a windowsill. Signed "Pels," lower right,and dated "1947" en verso. Housed in a silvered wood frame. Sight: 12 1/4" H x 9 1/2" W. Frame: 18" H x 15 1/8" W.
