Robert de Leon (Texas/Wyoming, b 1953) oil on canvas Western landscape painting titled "Rocks and Pines" depicting a group of pine trees and a deer situated along a lake with mountain scenery in the background under an early morning or early evening golden sky. Signed faintly "de Leon" lower right corner. Titled and artist name engraved to nameplate, lower center. Titled, additionally signed, and dated "10-12-93" en verso. Housed in a contemporary giltwood frame with a fluted frieze. Sight: 15 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Framed: 25 12" H x 29 1/2" W.
