London silverplate epergne hallmarked for Robert Pringle, comprised of one central pierced support with a partially frosted glass bowl having a scalloped rim, flanked by three removable shaped arms supporting matching glass bowls, all raised on a tapering fluted standard on a round footed base adorned with three figural swans resting on half-round fluted feet. Maker's hallmark to the top of the base. Each arm and arm receptacle with number, Circa 1870-1880. Together with a round mirrored table silverplate plateau having a beaded top and lower edge, curved surround with engraved shield and foliate decoration and resting on three curved foliate feet. Epergne 22 1/2" H x 15 1/2" dia. Plateau: 4 1/2" H x 18" dia. Late 19th century
