Vintage signed Turkish Shirinian Hereke, silk on silk, central brick red field with scrolling foliate and cat designs within multiple borders, including one with deer, bird, and floral designs. Signed "A. Shirinian" (in Armenian) in the lower margin. and "Hereke" (in Arabic) in the lower left corner. Woven in red, salmon, brown, pink, orange, blue, cream, gold, and green colors. 44 1/2 in. (includes fringe) x 33in. 20th century.
Condition
Excellent condition. Fitted with a hanger and rod for wall display.
