Six (6) assorted Chinese decorative items including 4 Famille Rose porcelain items and 2 Cloisonne vases. 1st item: A porcelain vase having a flared rim and polychrome bird on flowering branch decoration, base with overglaze square red seal mark, 10 in. H. 2nd item: Famille Rose porcelain Laughing Buddha or Hotai figure with two impressed marks to the base, 10 in. H x 9 1/2 in. W x 5 3/4 in. D. 3rd and 4th items: A pair of yellow ground cloisonne vases with flaring rims, scrolling foliate and butterfly decoration and blue enameled bases, 7 3/4 in. H. 5th and 6th items: A pair of small lidded ginger jars enameled with polychrome figural landscape designs on turquoise grounds with yellow sgraffito designs, jui-head decoration to the rims, and lappet decoration to the bases. Both with red circular underglaze stamp marks to the base, 4 in. H. All items 20th century.
Condition
1st - 4th items: Very good condition. 5th - 6th items: One jar lid with minute fleabite, otherwise overall very good condition.
Available payment options
Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
