Southern School, early 20th century, oil on board painting depicting a farm with red barn surrounded by haystacks or mounds of tobacco leaves, at sunset, with large leafy trees and blue-hued low mountains in the background. Unsigned. Inscription Mr 6- 22 en verso. Later giltwood frame with carved corner ornamentation. Board - 11" H x 14"W. Frame - 18"H x 21"W.
1/4" loss to upper left corner (not visible when painting is framed), otherwise excellent condition.
