Sterling Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) oil on board abstract painting depicting a large sunflower against a blue and green background, rendered in a heavy impasto technique. Signed and dated "Strauser 76" top right. Housed in a carved giltwood frame with pierced corner decorations and an off white wooden fillet. Sight: 10 1/2" H x 13 1/2" W. Framed: 17 1/2" H x 20 1/2" W.
