Artist biography: Born and raised in southern California, Susan Kliewer was encouraged at a young age towards art due to her innate talent. She prepared sculptures for bronze casting at a foundry for many renowned Arizona sculptors such as John Hampton, Joe Beeler, and Buck McCain. In 1988, she began creating her own sculptures and won the People's Choice Award in 1991 at the National Sculpture Walk in Sedona, Arizona.
