Sybil Deyarmon Gibson (Alabama, 1908-1995) folk art mixed media on paper grocery bag painting depicting a still life with brightly colored flowers. Signed "Sybil Gibson" in ink, lower right. Float mounted in a contemporary giltwood frame with a white liner under plexiglass. Sight: 16 3/4" H x 13 1/4" W. Framed: 22 1/4" H x 18 1/8" W.
Private Nashville, Tennessee estate.
Overall good condition with one tear to paper in upper right corner, may have occurred during the work's production. Some loss to acrylic paint in center, largest area 1/2".
