Tennessee crazy applique quilt, hand pieced and hand embroidered. Including ribbons, lace, and velvets and embroidered motifs such as farm animals, birds, butterflies, and flowers. Embroidered fabrics include dogs, Asian nesting dolls. Ribbons from agriculture to breeding and colorful dyed fabrics scattered throughout. Embroidery covers the seams and joins the quilt through the fabric. Medium batting. Backing consists of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" brown gingham squares. 73" L x 75" W
Condition
One 3" x 3" patch repair to the backside. One section includes needle and thread still attached with unfinished stitching. Backing has some discoloration and staining.
