Jumeau French Bisque Bebe Doll, 16"L, marked in red on back of neck: "Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 7" with additional hand markings. Bisque socket head, blue paperweight eyes, painted lashes, feathered brush-stroked brows, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, antique blonde mohair wig, cork pate. French composition body jointed at wrists, elbows, upper arms, hips and knees, stamped on back with Eiffel Tower and "Paris Bebe". Circa 1890s. Later (circa 1950s-60s) satin gown with an antique lace apron plus later leather shoes and stockings.
Condition
UV light inspection reveals hairline crack to back of head. 1" crack to composition body at upper arm, in back. Some minor chipping to toes. Previous owner inscription in pen to back. Some light grime to dress.
