Weller Art Pottery scenic seascape vase decorated with multiple sailing boats, faint structures in the background, and a rocky shoreline, decorated by the artist Sarah Reid McLaughlin (1872-1939). Incised on the base WELLER POTTERY and signed on the lower body MCLAUGHLIN. 10 in. H. Circa 1920s.
Condition
Overall light craquelure. One narrow strip of fluorescence on the body appears to be due to an applied varnish, not restoration.
