Western Union Model 35-A self-winding ticker tape machine, serial #6107, with brass frame faintly marked near the serial number "Bell & Co. U.S.A.", telegraph mechanism, and tape feed with escapement mechanism, over an electromagnet. All housed in a cast iron base with Western Union label stenciled: Quotations Furnished by The Western Union Telegraph Co. – Apply to Local Manager. Additional Western Union stamp on the interior of the base. Retains the original glass dome. 10 1/2 in. H (w/out dome) x 7 in. dia. 12 in. total H.
Condition
Not tested for functionality. Appears to be missing the twin alpha-numeric rollers, the G.E. battery, the tin ink housing, and the paper reel spindle. Light wear to the paint and lettering of the cast iron base.
