1st - 5th items: Five (5) Asian porcelain items, having polychrome enameled decorations, most with gilt highlights throughout, including one (1) Japanese Imari pear form vase having vignettes of floral and geometric decorations against a ground of light brown stylized clouds; two (2) Japanese Imari chargers, one (1) having a central vignette depicting a vase of flowers, surrounded by three vignettes of animals against a background of flowering branches and one (1) having a scalloped rim with scrolling foliate decorations, both with additional floral sprays to underside of rims; one (1) small plate, possibly Korean, having a central decoration of blue opposing dragons chasing a flaming pearl against a light grey ground; and one (1) Japanese Meiji period brush pot depicting a landscape scene against a grey ground, red character marks to underside of base. Ranging in size from 1 1/2" H x 6 3/4" dia. to 12 1/4" H x 12" dia. Late 19th/ early 20th century. 6th item: Chinese Famille Rose porcelain covered dish or bowl, the top and side with polychrome enamel decoration with Chinese character inscription, the sides fitted with bail handles. 3 1/4" H x 5 5/8" W. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7th item: 18th century English porcelain teacup with enameled floral and gilt decoration. 2" H x 3 1/4" dia. 8th item: Chinese charger with a bracketed foliate rim and foliate central reserve. Stylized foliate decoration to the underside of the rim together with a blue underglaze six-character Chenghua mark to the base. 12 1/4" dia. Late 19th century/early 20th century. 9th item: Chinese plate in the "tobacco leaf" pattern with blue vine decoration to the underside of the rim. 9" dia. Late 18th century. 10th item: Chinese plate having a shaped foliate and diapered rim and scenic landscape decoration with birds to the center. 9" dia. Late 18th/Early 19th century.
items 1-5: Japanese items with scattered flaws in the making, some areas of glaze voids, minor areas of loss to enamel decorations. Small, possibly Korean, plate with overall crazing, radiating hairlines, largest 3 1/4", to center with 1/8" area of loss and possible old repair to center, flaws in the making to underside of base. 6th item: Scattered chipping to rim of top and one chip to rim of base. A couple of shallow chips to the base.7th item: Hairline emanating from rim to lower body, 1 1/2" L. 8th item: Overall very good condition. Minor scuffing to center, scattered minor glaze imperfections, in the making. 9th item: Scattered minute fleabites and glaze wear to the rim. 10th item: Scattered glaze wear and minute chipping to rim. Some old areas of restoration to back, visible under UV inspection.
