10 assorted Sterling, Coin Silver and Silver Plated items including: 1 Goodnow and Jenks Sterling Silver Tea Caddy, c. 1900, with canted sides and domed lid, bright cut decoration and 3-part script monogram to each side; 3 coin silver knives with repousse floral handles marked for Frederick Marquand, working Savannah, Georgia 1819-1826 and New York City 1826-1839; 2 hollow silver tubes, possibly coin silver larding needles or marrow straws, engraved "RFT to F.J. CORTELYOU, 1828"; 1 Continental, likely Dutch ornamental spoon with windmill handle; 1 Los Castillo sterling silver brooch; 1 Wm. B. Kerr Art Nouveau figural sterling brooch; and 1 blossom pattern brooch, marked only "Sterling," 1 unmarked napkin ring monogrammed Nellie; plus 1 engraved silver-plated Cigar Case, c. 1900. Combined weighable marked sterling: 10.02 oz troy.
Condition
Overall all items in very good condition. Some denting to knives and napkin ring; napkin ring and cigar case have some slight wear.

Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
