British School, late 19th century, watercolor painting depicting the interior of highly ornate building, possibly the Palace of Westminster, with portrait bust of Queen Victoria overlooking a center doorway and flight of stairs leading to an oval desk with inkstand in the foreground. A sculpture of the Earl of Beaconsfield, Benjamin Disraeli, stands at the right, all surrounded by elaborate marble walls and ceiling painted with vignettes labeled after British Lords Derby and Salisbury. Housed under glass in a newer burnished bronze color frame with linen liner. Sight 23"H x 17"W. Framed - 33"H x 26 1/2"W.
