Rendered with cotton fabrics; multicolored prints and solids for flower designs, and predominantly yellow and green for garden path or borders. Top applied to Nile green backing. Separately attached darker green binding, along scalloped sides. 78" H x 73 1/2" W. American, possibly late 1930s. 2nd item: Pinwheel pattern quilt, hand pieced and hand quilted. Rendered with multicolored cotton and sateen fabrics. Quilted in diagonal lines throughout. Top is applied to off-white backing, which is hand stitched, folded to front for binding. 83.5" H x 64" W. American, circa 1930s. Both overall good condition, wear commensurate with age and use. 1st item: Scattered minor staining to front and back. Some fading to green fabric, mainly to backing along scalloped edge. 2nd item: Unwashed, pencil markings visible on quilt lines. Scattered minor staining to front and back. Some discoloration along fold lines to backing.
