Two (2) Rudolph Carl Gorman (New Mexico/Arizona/California, 1932-2005) color lithographs. 1st item: "Woman with a Tulip Bowl" (State II), 1981. A seated woman in a blue dress places her left hand on the rim of a pottery vessel decorated with a tulip motif. From the Roman numeral edition of 25 outside of the Arabic numeral edition of 150. Published by Houston Fine Art Press and printed by Richard Newlin and Tamarind master printer Frances A. Theil, with publisher's and printer's blind stamps to lower corners. Artist's embossed chop, lower center. Pencil signed, dated, and numbered IX/XXV along lower edge. Floated under acrylic in a metallic frame with tan mat and dark brown mount. Sheet: 16 1/4 in. H x 20 in. W. Framed: 24 in. H x 27 1/4 in. W. 2nd item: "Danya," 1980. A woman shown in bust-length, profile view wears a turquoise earring as she raises her chin, closes her eyes, and parts her lips slightly. Pencil signed, dated, and numbered 80/150, lower margin. Housed under glass in a wooden frame with tan suede mat and dark brown reveal. Sight: 12 in. H x 13 1/2 in. W. Framed: 21 1/4 in. H x 22 in. W. 

 

 

Condition

Both items in overall very good condition. Not examined out of frames.
