Assorted Nashville ephemera, 1826-1915, including an 1848 document for the sale of a 40 year old man named Jim, sold to James M. Murrell by Harvey Tucker in Davidson County; 1802 land indenture between Thomas Claiborne and William Terrell Lewis for a one-acre parcel known as "Lot 23 adjoining the Public Square"; 1813 Davidson County land indenture, signed by clerk Randal McGavock (1768-1843, original owner of Carnton Plantation); two (2) 1826 land survey plat maps of land in Davidson County by Sam Weakley for Thomas Wells and Peter Higgins; 1857 Nashville land indenture signed by Frank McGavock; 1896 letter from Union General and Nashville businessman, author and preservationist G.P. Thruston on his company State Insurance Co.'s letterhead regarding building a cottage at Beersheba Springs, Tn; 1897 poll tax receipt for W.W. Berry; 1883 University of Nashville and Vanderbilt University Medical School Commencement announcement, Tennessee Centennial Exposition ticket with four (four) silk ribbons; four (4) 20th century prints of downtown Nashville in the mid 19th century, one 1915 photograph titled "State Shoot June 3-4-5- Nashville Tenn", and other assorted documents and correspondence. 

Condition

All items overall good condition with expected toning, minor discolorations, minor losses/separations at some fold lines, most encapsulated (not laminated) in protective plastic sheeting. 1915 State Shoot Photo has full crease with tearing at upper right quadrant, losses to all corners.
