1st item: Miniature horizontally oriented oval portrait of a bearded man, with foliage landscape in background. Unsigned. Set in a chased gilt metal brooch frame, 1 7/8" H x 1 1/2" W. Mid 19th century. 2nd item: Chased gilt metal frame with cracked glass, 2" H x 1 5/8" W, fits portrait 1 7/8" H x 1 1/2" W. 19th century. 3rd item: Continental School, late 18th century, miniature watercolor portrait of a woman in pale pink bonnet and dress, with light brown wig or hair, landscape with tree in background. Sight: 2 3/8" diameter; frame: 5 3/8" H x 5 7/8" W. 4th item: Oval painted porcelain portrait of a young woman in blue dress, housed in a velvet lined stenciled leather case. Portrait: 2" H x 1 1/2" W; case: 4 1/4" H x 3 1/4" W. Circa 1900. 5th item: Small oil on acrylic plate impressionistic painting of a terrier. Unsigned. Card en verso reveals this painting was a gift from the Sea Island Gardening Group in Sea Island, GA. Housed in a contemporary metallic frame. Sight: 7 3/8" H x 7 3/4" W. Framed: 9 1/2" H x 9 1/2" W. American, mid-late 20th Century.

Condition

1st item: Portrait ground is slightly warped and loose in frame. 2nd item: Glass cracked, oxidation to metal. 3rd item: Repaired crack to nearly full length of portrait, affecting face. 4th item: Wear and some cracking to case. Scratches to face on portrait. 5th item: Overall good condition with light scratching to acrylic plate.
