Four (4) Meissen porcelain polychrome and parcel-gilt figures, including one (1) anthropomorphic monkey dressed in human attire on a naturalistic base with gilt highlights, being the drummer from Meissen's "monkey band"; one (1) figure of a Lusatian woman in national costume holding a bouquet of flowers and standing on a naturalistic base with gilt highlights, designed by Hugo Speiler; and two (2) small boys attired in 18th-century costume, including one (1) gardener holding a bouquet in one hand and a bindle of flowers in the other, and one (1) ornately dressed boy with a black hat scraping a tree with a lanyard draped around the stump. All with Meissen crossed swords mark and incised numbers to bases. Ranging in size from 4" H x 2" W x 1 1/2" D to 5 3/4" H x 3" W x 3 1/2" D. All German, late 19th to early 20th century.

Condition

All with breaks and/or restoration. 1st item with breaks to foot and mallets, restoration to base and foot. 2nd item with very slight losses to floral bouquet. 3rd item: Chips to bouquet and bindle, loss to branch holding bindle. 4th item: Loss to foot, chips to hat, chips to tree and coat.
