1st & 2nd items: Pair of 19th century Rococo Meissen porcelain cabinet plates, decorated by an outside studio, with raised scalloped edge stepped up with gilt surrounding a French Blue border. The centers are embellished with raised gilt impasto tracery and frame a hand-painted scene of frolicking cherubs holding doves or playing instruments. Bases with blue Meissen crossed swords and double slash mark and impressed numbers 317. Each 8 3/4" dia. Late 19th century. 3rd & 4th items: Two (2) Fischer & Mieg porcelain oyster plates, each with hand-painted foliate edges with gilt highlights and scalloped rimes, the centers each containing five oyster wells and a central dipping well with gradient pink ground. Both with a blue Bee-hive mark to underside, an immitation of Royal Vienna porcelain, and stamped F & M to edge of underside. Each 8 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W x 1" D. Bohemian, late 19th/early 20th century.

Condition

1st & 2nd items: One plate with outline or ghosting of swag decoration to the border that appear to be in the making, the other with a couple of firing flaws to the rim. Both with double slash mark to Meissen mark indicating tableware of unsuitable quality. 3rd & 4th items: Overall good condition, very slight losses to gilt highlights.
