1st item: J. I. Pittman, New York Union Model 1841 rifleman's leather cartridge box. Brown leather, single stitched with scalloped edge to outer flap and lunate interior flap over implement pouch with tab closure. Interior flap marked "MADE BY J.I. PITTMAN NEW YORK". Includes closing tab, brass finial, two metal buckles, and two belt loops. Possible inscription to the interior of the outer flap. 4 3/4" H x 8 1/8" W x 2 1/2" D. 2nd item: US military saddlebags. Brown leather, single stitched, and double bags each having single flaps with "US" embossed to center and three leather bucket straps, three metal buckles to exterior of main compartment, connecting yoke with brass hardware. 13 1/4" H x 43 1/4" L x 1 3/4" D. 4th quarter 19th century. 3rd item: US McClellan Model 1904 12 inch seat saddle. Brown leather, single stitched with brass hardware and escutcheon reading "12 INCH SEAT". 8 3/4" H x 19 1/2" W x 12 3/4" D. 4th item: Pair of Civil War Union officer's dress epaulettes. Comprised of gold bullion fabric with gilt-brass crescents and gold bullion wire tassels. Undersides fitted with pads. 7 1/2" L x 5 1/2" W. 5th-6th items: Two (2) miniature cannons, including one (1) comprised of cast iron and one (1) comprised of cast iron with a wooden caisson. Unmarked. Ranging in size from 7" H x 8" W x 14 1/2" D to 10 1/4" H x 9" W x 18" D. Late 19th/early 20th century.

Condition

All items in overall good condition. Expected wear, cracking, surface grime to leather items, all stitching appears intact. 1st item: US brass plate an interior tin compartment are not present. 3rd item: Some brass fittings are not present. 4th item: Expected wear use including discoloration to fabric and gilt, wear to padding and losses to clip to underside of one epaulet. 5th-6th items: Oxidation to cast iron. Not tested for functionality. Natural age shrinkage, 1 3/4" area of loss to right wheel of one cannon. One cannon with spoke missing.
