Religious gothic oil painting on panel after Fra Angelico (Italian, 1395-1455), depicting an angel with incised rays around the head that expand outward in a sun-like manner, standing and holding a trumpet. Housed in a carved gilt double columnated gothic-style frame with arches and carved decoration. Sight: 15 3/8" H x 6" W. Framed: 28 1/4" H x 10" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.

Angel painting on panel overall good condition with a couple areas with very light craquelure. Frame with repairs to the top spire, gilding repaint/repair on arch and surrounds of frame.
