Horizontal oban woodblock print after Katsushika Hokusai's (Japan, 1760-1849) The Great Wave from his Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji series published between 1826 and 1833. Printed from recarved blocks. Likely Showa period, first half of 20th century or earlier. Unframed. 9 3/4" H x 15" W.
Condition
With losses to upper margin and lower left corner, outside of the image. Three points of old glue to edges en verso.
