Andre (William Andre) Harvey (active/lived Delaware/Florida/France, 1941-2018) bronze sculpture of a sitting female pig "Helen" modeled after the life-sized sculpture by the artist. Signed on the rear left leg "Andre Harvey" together with the artist's monogram and copyrighted 1977. Mounted onto an oval wood base. Sculpture: 7 1/4" H x 13" L x 4 1/2" W. 8 1/8" total H w/ base. Note: Andre Harvey is known for intricately detailed realistic bronze figures, animals, and sea creatures (Courtesy of AskArt). This lot comes with a catalog of Harvey's work published by the studio, 1994, featuring a photo of the life-size version of this sculpture on page 10.
