Antique Beshir Torba Turkmen rug, wool on wool, the brick red center with stylized floral and medallion designs within a large primary floral border, lower elem border with stylized flowers. Woven in red, blue, gold, and cream colors. 6ft 2in x 3ft 3in. Circa 1870's.
Condition
Uneven pile wear, wear primarily to the center, and a couple of vertical repairs to the center approximately 2 inches. Losses to both fringe borders, the lower border with damage to the right side. Denim hanger sen verso top margin.
