Persian Tehran or Kashan main carpet, wool on cotton. Central ivory field with scrolling foliate and boteh designs, within three main foliate borders. woven in cream, blue, red, green, pink, and gold. 9ft 8in x 6ft 9in. Mid 20th century.
Condition
Overall very good condition with even pile wear. Scattered areas of white knots and some minor losses to fringed ends.
