Flemish School, manner of Paul de Vos (Flemish, 1591-1678), oil on canvas painting depicting a dog chasing a hare or rabbit through a landscape. Unsigned. Housed in an antique carved and giltwood Rococo style frame. Canvas - 5 1/2" x 12 1/8". Frame - 8 1/2" x 15 1/2".

Old wax lining. Some buckling and overall craquelure to canvas. Blooming varnish along lower right edge of canvas (at sight edge). Frame is old but may not be original.
