Two (2) European school, possibly Scottish, oil on canvas landscape paintings depicting cattle resting by a lake with hazy mountains in the background. Both signed with monogram, possibly "JF" in lower corners. Both housed in later giltwood frames with Chemers Gallery, CA labels en verso. Sights: 13 1/2"' H x 9 1/4" W. Frames: 20" H x 16" W.

Both paintings in overall good condition with light craquelure and scattered fleabite losses. Both with light wear and scattered minor losses to frames.
