Patinated bronze bust sculpture of the god Bacchus or Dionysus, god of the grape harvest and wine making, depicted smiling and glancing to one side. Illegibly signed on the base "C. De.....O" and mounted onto a black rectangular marble base. Sculpture measures 13 3/4" H x approx. 13" W. 19 1/2" total H. American, 20th century.
Bust exhibits some light wear and patination. Bronze bracket affixing piece to base with previous fatigue crack, now reinforced.
