Chinese Export Rose Medallion porcelain polychrome and parcel-gilt punchbowl having central floral and bird medallion to interior surrounded by alternating vignettes of figural interior scenes and foliate, bird, and insect designs to interior and exterior, surmounted by a foliate and insect decorated band with floral vignettes at the rim to interior and exterior. Unmarked. Includes an associated hardwood stand with serpentine legs protruding from base as conforming rim. 6 3/4" H x 15 7/8" dia. Overall with stand: 12" H. Late 19th/early 20th century.
