1st item: Chinese silver opium or cricket box with elaborate pierced leaf and vine design, and with branch shaped latch, stamped "Silver" to underside (XRF tests 68% silver). 2 3/4 in. H x 4 in. W x 2 7/8 in. D. 5.360 troy oz. 2nd item: Chinese or Southeast Asian silver amulet box with raised dragon design to center and inlaid coral and malachite cabachons, raised on four silver ball feet. Unmarked. (XRF tests 94% silver). 1 1/4 in. H x 4 1/2 in. L x 3 in. D. Both items late 19th to early 20th century.
Condition
Opium Box: Excellent condition. Amulet box: Very good condition; polish residue and a possible tiny solder repair to central dragon design, along with some very minor dents.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
