Finely carved and molded Chinese white glazed porcelain water coupe or pot, featuring a scene of a house in a landscape setting encompassing the circumference of the vessel, with hinged silver cover adorned with a repousse dragon. Incised mark to underside of coupe. Silver lid is not marked but XRF tests 94% silver. 2 in. H x 3 in. diam. 19th century or earlier.
Condition
Some oxidation to cover, cover slightly loose, otherwise excellent condition.
