Edwin Armfield (United Kingdom, active 19th century), oil on canvas genre scene painting depicting two terriers in a barnyard setting. A lantern is overturned in the foreground, atop a red cloth. Signed "E Armfield" lower right. Gallery label on verso for Vaughan-Goodman Fine Art, Jackson, MS, with title "Terriers Rabbiting". Housed in a giltwood Louis XV style frame. Sight: 11 1/4 in. H x 15 1/4 in W. Framed: 17 1/4 in. H x 21 in. W.
Condition
Painting in overall good condition. Some shrinkage cracks to frame.
