Robert Noble (Scottish, 1857-1917) oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a river in the center with figures on either side of a walkway intersecting the river with a partially visible structure to the left and trees in the background. Signed "R. Noble" lower left. Partial Glasgow, Scotland, fine art gallery dealer label en verso. Housed in a wide Hudson River school-style gilt and gesso frame. Sight: 11 1/4 in. H x 19 1/4 in. W. Framed: 22 in. H x 30 in. W.
Condition
Painting is in overall good condition with light overall grime. Frame with minor craquelure to the corner elements and areas of touchup.
