Edmund Morison Wimperis (English, 1835-1900), two framed oil on canvas paintings. 1st item: Figure on horseback at stream in landscape. Signed and dated lower left "EMW 90". Framed in fancy carved, gesso and giltwood frame. Dimensions: 30" x 24". Framed: 35 3/4" H x 29 3/4" 2nd item: Stream in landscape with cows. Signed and dated lower left "EMW 90". Framed in fancy carved, gesso and giltwood frames. Dimensions: 30" H x 24" W. Framed: 35 3/4" H x 29 3/4 W".
Condition
Each on overall good condition. Visual in good condition. Blacklight in good condition with areas of light, scattered touch-ups. Frames: Each in good overall condition with light surface wear and scratches, cracks to gesso and repair. Each painting with professional conservation and lined.
