English Sterling Silver Tea Kettle on Stand, Garrard & Co.

Sterling silver hot water or tea kettle on stand, the kettle having a round form with cut cardwork decoration at the domed lid and hexagonal spout, and a fixed upright handle, atop a separate stand with four scroll legs and hexagonal stepped feet and a removable burner. Underside of kettle is engraved, "the 21st Christmas" and hallmarked for Garrard & Co., London, 1963. (Kettle, stand, keys and lid all hallmarked). Overall - 12 1/2"H x 10"W x 7"D. Total weight including kettle, stand and burner - 63.77 oz troy. Note: this item is accompanied by a 1974 appraisal from Garrard & Co. for a previous owner.
