Ernest T. Fredericks (Arkansas/Illinois, 1877-1959) oil on canvas painting titeld "Pennsylvania Landscape, Near Bedford" depicting a hilly spring landscape, a cabin visible in the middle ground before a mountain range. Signed "Ernest Fredericks" lower right. Excerpt from The Chicago Daily News, dated Saturday, June 8, 1940, describing one of Frederick's exhibitions with artist information, with handwritten title inscription, en verso of canvas, possible auction lot tax, affixed en verso of frame. Housed in a carved giltwood frame. Sight: 15 3/4" H x 19 3/4" W. Framed: 20" H x 24" W.
