Louis E. Delius (New York/South Carolina, 19th Century) watercolor and gouache on cardstock landscape painting depicting a small bridge over a stream that leads to a larger body of water surrounded by trees and illuminated by a full moon. Signed "L. Delius" lower right (obscured by mat). Pencil and ink stamp numerals, en verso of sheet. Housed and matted under glass in a giltwood frame. Sheet: 19 1/2" H x 29 1/4" W. Sight: 18 1/2" H x 28" W. Framed: 26 5/8" H x 36 1/2" W.

Overall very good condition with toning, acid burn to edges and en verso of sheet. Frame with natural age shrinkage.
