1st item: Marjorie Johnson Lee (American/Texas, 1911-1997) pastel on paper still life drawing depicting a group of eggplants against a background with vibrant strokes of color immerging from the center. Signed "M. Lee" lower right. Unframed. 19" H x 24" W. 2nd item: Chinese watercolor monochrome painting of a tree or branch with foliage. Signature in Chinese characters and red seals in top right corner. Inscribed lower right "To My Dear Wife Marjorie With Love / Christmas 1971". Unframed. 9" H x 14" W.
1st item: With slight toning, creasing to one edge, and light wear along edges. Tape along upper edge from prior hinge mounting. 2nd item: With toning and slight fraying along edges. Tape to upper left corner.
