Purvis Young (1923-2010), "Landscape Funeral Procession," 1991, paint on salvaged wood. Features a series of cohesive scenes painted on various cross sections of wood, applied to a large supporting piece of found plywood with "No Trespassing" painted en verso, and float mounted in a black painted wood frame. Labels en verso for Ricco Maresca Gallery, New York, and the U.S. State Department "Art in Embassies" program (Ecuador). 48" H x 36 1/2"W. Frame - 50 1/2"H x 38 1/2"W.
