Leon Emile Caille (French, 1836-1907) oil on panel painting of a woman seated in a domestic interior, 19th c. She holds a small child on her lap and places her left foot on a footwarmer while a kettle warms over a fire at right. Signed lower left. With Swain's Art Store, Plainfield, NJ label affixed to verso. Housed in a giltwood frame. Sight: 8 1/4 in. H x 5 7/8 in. W. Framed: 14 1/2 in. H x 12 in. W.

Overall very good condition. Not examined out of frame.
