Belle Epoque era Louis XV style loveseat or canape with carved frame and painted, parcel gilt finish, featuring an arched crest with floral carving continuing into shaped, partially upholstered arms and is supported on six cabriole legs. Upholstered with modern gold and silver damask Scalamandre fabric with a scrolled pattern and down-filled cushion. 35" H x 54" W x 31" D. Late 19th/early 20th century.
The upholstery is in very good condition; frame exhibits light wear to the painted surface.
