Lucien Delarue (French, 1925-2011), "La Seine a Herblay," oil on canvas landscape painting depicting the French village of Herblay in the Ile de France region, with buildings including the town's distinctive bell tower and yellow-leafed trees overlooking the River Seine. Signed lower right "Delarue" and titled en verso. Housed in a silver leaf molded frame with white linen liner and gilt fillet. Canvas size: 13" x 16". Frame Size: 18 3/4" H x 21 3/4"W.
Very good condition with a few minor spots of yellowing to varnish and minor surface grime.
The collection of Dr. Ken and Linda Moore, acquired Lyzon Gallery, 1988. The receipt is available to the winning bidder.
